Man rams Fairview Heights officer’s SUV because he ‘doesn’t like police,’ department says

FAIRVIEW HEIGHTS, Ill. — A man purposefully rammed his vehicle into the back of a Fairview Heights police SUV during a traffic stop Wednesday morning, according to police.

The incident happened around 9 a.m. on Old Collinsville Road, just south of Frank Scott Parkway. The officer had pulled over an unrelated car for an expired license plate sticker.
