HOUSTON (KIAH) — Two men who escaped custody in Conroe have been charged with allegedly strangling a Border Patrol agent, federal officials said.
The FBI office in Houston said that the two men were Mexican nationals and were in the U.S. illegally. They were apprehended and were en route to a detention facility in Houston.
Juan Carmen Padron Mendez, 29, and Juan Carlos Padron Barron, 23, made their first court appearance on Tuesday.
