PORTLAND, Ore. (KATU) — The Oregon International Air Show ascends upon us this weekend, September 26 to September 28, at the McMinnville Airport, located at 4000 N.E. Cirrus Ave. in McMinnville. Gates will be open from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Friday, and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.
This event has been a successful, crowd-drawing event since 1998, and this year’s fall event will surely not disappoint with no shortage of military warbirds to showcase, including: the United States Air Force F-16 Viper Demo Team — a world-class display of power and precision. Also soaring our skies will be the Canadian Forces Snowbirds, 431 Air Demonstration Squadron, a Canadian icon comprised of Canadian Armed Forces members, representing the high level of skill, professionalism, teamwork, discipline, and dedication inherent in the men and women of the Canadian Armed Forces.
