Six months after announcing plans for a new and bigger location in University City, Sol’ Delish held an “influencers night” on Wednesday while preparing for a grand opening on Saturday.
The new location, near the University City boardwalk, can seat up to 140 people and represents a significant upgrade for the Black-owned restaurant that opened in 2023.
At 4,700 square feet, the new restaurant includes two bars and a small stage for live music. It sits in a space formerly occupied by Ciro’s Italian Restaurant. (The initial location had a maximum capacity of about 50 people.)…
