TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) – A Florida Highway Patrol trooper tragically died nearly a week ago after experiencing medical complications due to an injury sustained while on duty, according to FHP.
Senior Trooper Craig Gaines died Friday while off duty at his home, according to the state agency. First responders, including FHP, responded and attempted life-saving efforts. But those efforts were unsuccessful, the state agency said.
