OPELOUSAS, La. (KLFY) — An Opelousas man is charged with rape and battery after an incident last week, authorities said.
Jakob Sedrick Oakly, 22, of Opelousas is charged with first degree rape, second degree battery, second degree kidnapping and theft.
St. Landry Parish deputies responded Sept. 18 to a residence just southwest of Opelousas for a trespassing complaint, where the victim said she had been beaten and raped.
