A mother of five is being accused of causing the death of her youngest child.
On Tuesday, Sept. 23, the Placentia Police Department confirmed in a press release that Melissa Lynn Beisel, 40, had been arrested after her 2-year-old son died during bath time at their home in Placentia, Calif.
“On September 22, 2025, at approximately 9:08 PM, Placentia Public Safety Communications Center received a 9-1-1 call reference a 2-year-old male child who was unresponsive,” the report read. “Placentia Police Officers and Placentia Fire personnel arrived on scene and located the male child in the bathroom, and life saving measures began.”…
