CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (WVIR) – Former WVIR meteorologist Josh Fitzpatrick appeared in court again facing sexual extortion charges, for the first time since being released on bond in May.
In what was scheduled to be a preliminary hearing, the prosecution asked that the case be dismissed, citing a need to build up evidence and protect the privacy of witnesses.
The judge granted a nolle prosequi, dropping charges, but the prosecution said this is not the end of the road…
