Family frustrated after public plea for help in pregnant Cordova woman’s killing

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Shelby County District Attorney Steve Mulroy has scheduled a news conference Thursday, saying there will be an update in the case of a woman killed in Cordova in 2020.

Keierra McNeil was 32 years old and six months pregnant when she was shot and killed outside a Walgreens on Walnut Grove Road.

Her mother said McNeil went to Walgreens to meet someone to talk about her child. Homicide investigators say she was sitting in her car waiting on the person to arrive when she was ambushed.
