MONTGOMERY, Ala. (WSFA) – A Montgomery man is behind bars after a knife attack early Thursday morning, according to the Montgomery Police Department.
Police responded to the Circle K in the 3500 block of Lower Wetumpka Road around 12:30 a.m. on reports of a person being cut.
On scene, officers found the victim, Jerry Wright II, suffering from a deep laceration to the front of his neck. Wright explained that he had gone to a nearby Big Cat store and got into an altercation with the security guard when he asked him to buy a cigarello.
