WILMINGTON, N.C. (WECT) – Officials across the Cape Fear Region are monitoring two tropical disturbances in the Atlantic.
The National Weather Service (NWS) currently does not anticipate Tropical Storm Humberto and Tropical Disturbance Al94 making direct landfall. The NWS forecasts hazardous surf conditions, including life-threatening rip currents, beginning next week.
Humberto is expected to move northwest of Bermuda next week, while AL94 will likely become a tropical depression and shift north to impact southeastern North Carolina as early as Sept. 29…
