Missouri co-winner comes forward to take share of recent $1.7 billion Powerball jackpot

A Missouri man has claimed his half of the $1.787 billion Powerball jackpot won on a ticket drawn on Sept. 6.

The prize is the largest ever won by a Missouri Lottery player, officials said in a release. The officials did not name their state’s winner, who said in the release that he is a “homebody” and that he plans to “just do ‘me’ for a year.”

The man also said that the prize will let his wife reduce her workload, joking that “she’s going to drag me out of town now.”…
