SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) — The death of a 25-year-old offender in the state prison in Sioux Falls is “being aggressively investigated in collaboration with the Division of Criminal Investigation and the DOC Office of the Inspector General,” state Department of Corrections Secretary Kellie Wasko said in an email to KELOLAND News.
Kaleb Lukkes, 25, was found unresponsive in his cell on Tuesday, according to the DOC.

Lukkes was serving a sentence for aggravated assault. Lukkes is the third inmate death in two days.
