SCSO issues warrant for killer who posted bond for petty theft shortly after murder conviction

MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) – A warrant has been issued for a convicted killer’s arrest after the Shelby County Sheriff’s Office says a processing delay allowed him to be freed from jail the same day he was found guilty of murder.

SCSO says 24-year-old Anthony Green was found guilty on Wednesday in a 2020 murder case after a three-day trial.
