MNPD: Man accused of selling fentanyl, cocaine out of his home

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — Narcotics detectives with the Metro Nashville Police Department arrested a Madison man Thursday for allegedly selling fentanyl and cocaine out of his home.

According to the MNPD, 46-year-old Joseph Webster was charged with fentanyl possession for resale, cocaine possession for resale, unlawful gun possession by a convicted felon and gun possession in the commission of a dangerous felony.

Webster’s arrest was the result of a several months-long investigation about the distribution of fentanyl out of a home in Madison, officials said. Police said that investigators identified Webster as a fentanyl seller out of his home on Canton Pass.

Officers took Webster into custody Thursday and found him in possession of 5.1 grams of “white and purple powders.” The white powder tested positive for fentanyl and cocaine while the purple powder tested positive for fentanyl, according to the MNPD.

Police said officers executed a search warrant at the home, leading to the seizure of two pistols and “a large sum of cash.”…
