Police officers found guns and ammunition after forcing entry into a home in the Middleton section of The Villages.
A 911 caller reported that 52-year-old Brian Douglas White had called him and said he “wanted to kill someone,” according to an arrest report from the Wildwood Police Department. The man said he hung up the phone and went to White’s residence at 2796 Alder Ave. where he found White was “highly intoxicated.” The man said White told him he had two guns in the home. The man who dialed 911 said he was “worried” that the situation would “escalate.”
Police arrived at about 5:30 p.m. Saturday at White’s home and knocked several times. When they did not get an answer, police forced entry through the front door. They found White “disoriented and intoxicated” on a bedroom floor. He made “delusional” statements and tried to fight with police.
Officers found that White is under a Risk Protection Order through June 2026. The order prohibits White from possessing guns or ammunition…
