ELKTON — A man who threatened the lives of several Cecil County Sheriff’s Office deputies and a judge on the Cecil County bench in June received a six-month jail term on Tuesday, after accepting a plea deal, according to Cecil County Circuit Court records.
Visiting Retired St. Mary’s County Circuit Court Judge David W. Densford imposed a three-year sentence on the defendant — Daniel Andrew Cebenka Sr., 46, of Elkton — for threat of mass violence and then suspended all but six months of the penalty. The judge credited Cebenka for the 91 days that he served in the Cecil County Detention Center as a pretrial inmate after his arrest.
Densford ordered Cebenka to serve two years of supervised probation after completing his term, listing mental health evaluation and therapy and drug and alcohol treatment as conditions, court records show…
