PORTLAND Ore. (KPTV) – A 42-year-old man was charged with stealing mail from apartment complexes across the westside of Portland on Tuesday, the U.S. Attorney’s Office announced on Thursday.
According to court documents, Michael John Peters is accused of using counterfeit or modified postal keys to break into mailboxes at apartment and condominium complexes at least 12 times between May and September.
