GALLERY: Dragon Lights Festival returns to Reno with new attractions

The Dragon Lights Festival is set to illuminate Reno once again, opening on Friday, Sept. 26, at the Wilbur D. May Arboretum & Botanical Gardens. Presented by Northern Nevada Health System, the festival will run nightly from 6–10 p.m. through Nov. 30. This year, attendees can look forward to more than 40 new lantern groups.

A highlight of the festival will be “The Joy of Pancakes,” a live arts duo known for transforming breakfast into a dazzling performance with their unique “prestige pancake art.” Thanks to support from Hometown Health, the duo will perform from Sept. 26 to Oct. 2.

Visitors can also indulge in a variety of food and drinks at the Lantern Food Court, featuring offerings from local vendors and food trucks.
