HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) – The Department of Veterans Affairs announced Thursday nearly $9 million in grants to help veterans who are homeless or at-risk of becoming homeless in Hawaii and Guam.
The three organizations receiving grants are WestCare Pacific Islands, Inc. in Guam ($1.3 million), United States Veterans Initiative in Hawaii ($5.4 million), and Catholic Charities Hawaii ($2.1 million).
