Driver rescued after flipping SUV into pole in Bethlehem area

Firefighters rescued a driver by cutting apart his vehicle, which was wedged on its side against a traffic signal pole, Thursday outside Bethlehem, police said.

The 47-year-old from Catasauqua was taken by ambulance to Lehigh Valley Hospital-Muhlenberg and stabilized, according to a news release from Colonial Regional police.
