CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCSC) – The Charleston Police Department has arrested and charged a man in connection with a series of violent incidents at a downtown apartment complex.
Paul Emmanuel Chisolm, 30, of North Charleston, was arrested and charged with two counts of shooting into a dwelling, three counts of first-degree assault and battery, two counts of assault and battery of a high and aggravated nature, possession of a firearm during the commission of a violent crime, first degree domestic violence, third degree assault and battery and damage to real property, according to Charleston Police.
Chisolm is connected to three separate incidents between Aug. 16 and Sept. 21.
On Aug. 16, officers patrolling North Romney Street heard gunshots and responded to Bridgeview Village Apartments. Officers found shell casings and bullet damage to the front door of an apartment. No injuries were reported, and the apartment’s resident was known to Chisolm…
