MATTHEWS, N.C. (WBTV) – A Matthews man was in custody Friday afternoon after police had to use a non-lethal disorientation device on him after he allegedly assaulted his wife, according to police.
Matthews police said on Friday, Sept. 25, around 4:40 p.m., they responded to Chambers Drive regarding a report of a domestic disturbance. When officers arrived at the home, they spoke with a female standing outside with visible physical injuries.
