FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) – A few areas of fog will develop this morning, but it will look similar to yesterday’s patchy haze. We’re giving you the First Alert to tomorrow morning, as dense fog looks to be stubborn for your Friday morning drive. Delays are possible tomorrow morning and will need to be monitored, especially in the hour or two leading up to sunrise.
The cloud cover for the start of the day will gradually move out, allowing for more sunshine later on. Highs make it into the mid 70s today, which is what’s considered ‘average’ for this time of year. We’ll get back into an above average trend by this weekend when highs push into the low 80s. We’ll hold on to the upper 70s and low 80s until our next cold front arrives, which looks to be midweek next week.
An updated drought outlook will come out around 8:30 this morning, and we’ll bring you the latest information on that during 21Alive Morning News at 9 am…
