SPARTANBURG, S.C. (WSPA) — A Spartanburg man is now behind bars for reportedly taking advantage of a vulnerable adult.
65-year-old Gregory Lewis Drummond, of Spartanburg, was arrested for allegedly exploiting a vulnerable adult, obtaining property under false pretenses, and forgery, according to South Carolina Attorney General Alan Wilson.
The arrest follows an investigation by the Attorney General’s Vulnerable Adults and Medicaid Provider Fraud unit (VAMPF) and the Spartanburg Police Department, which found that Drummond allegedly withdrew approximately $274,900 from the victim’s Wells Fargo accounts using forged documents between February 14 and October 31, 2024…
