N.J. man sentenced to 8 years for friend’s fatal overdose at motel

A New Jersey man was sentenced to eight years in prison for the overdose death of a friend to whom he supplied drugs at a Bergen County motel, authorities said Thursday.

Alberto Delgado, 45, of Bloomfield, gave fentanyl and cocaine to 54-year-old Luke Revell while the two were at a motel in Lyndhurst, according to the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office.

Police were called shortly before noon on Nov. 11, 2023, to the motel in the 200 block of Rutherford Avenue, where they found Revell unresponsive…
