(FOX40.COM) — A manhunt is underway after a Taco Bell in Sacramento was robbed on Friday afternoon, according to the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office. • Video Above: Most commonly reported crimes in the U.S.
Around 4 p.m., SCSO said the Taco Bell on the 4300 Block of Sunrise Boulevard was robbed. The suspect led police on a chase in a vehicle, but is not on foot. According to SCSO, a perimeter has been set up on the 4300 Block of Rio Tinto Avenue as deputies search for the suspect.Law enforcement believes the suspect may be inside a home that has been surrounded by officers. At 5:15 p.m., the SWAT team was on its way to the scene. Neighboring homes have been evacuated.
