Lubbock man starts his own non-profit to support military food insecurity

LUBBOCK, Texas — Jeff Brown, who lived in Lubbock, kicked off his non-profit called Food4Troops, to help military members to help pay for their meals.

“Most people think that our soldiers eat for free. And they’re not they’re being charged,” Brown said.

According to Brown, some military members were charged for their meals, which would come out of their paycheck…
