A father and son allegedly were caught stealing mail from a cluster mailbox in Garden Ridge, leading deputies to boxes of documents.
Robert Henry Blalock Jr., 55, and Robert Henry Blalock III, 24, are each charged with at least one count of mail theft equal to or greater than 30 pieces of mail, according to Bexar County court records. Blalock III posted a $20,000 bond and was released from the Bexar County jail Tuesday. Blalock Jr. posted a $20,000 bond and was released Wednesday.
Garden Ridge police said in a Facebook post that there have been several mail thefts from area residents and their community cluster boxes, a problem that has also been a major focus for San Antonio.
