Narcotics Investigation Leads to Arrest of Jamestown Man

After seven months of investigation into narcotics activity in the City of Jamestown, an arrest was made following a search warrant. Narcotics Investigators from the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office, City of Jamestown Police Department, and City of Dunkirk Police Department executed the search warrant at 610 Monroe St. in Jamestown around 8:35 am. As a result of the search, Investigators seized 643 grams of cocaine, 40.4 grams of crack cocaine, scales and packaging used for the sale and distribution of narcotics and $27,371.00 US Currency. Located at the residence was 34-year-old David Brown III, who was charged with 1st degree Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance and 2nd degree Criminally Using Drug Paraphernalia.
