BLOUNT COUNTY, Tenn. (WVLT) – The Tennessee Highway Patrol said its investigating a deadly crash that happened on “The Dragon” in Blount County.
According to a preliminary report, a Yamaha MT-07 motorcycle being driven by 21-year-old Burke Christopher Peters, of Massachusetts, was traveling northbound on a section of US 129 referred to as “The Dragon,” an 11 mile stretch of road with more than 300 curves.
At around 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 20, THP said Burke crossed the center line in a curve and hit a BMW being driven by a North Carolina man. Burke’s motorcycle then came to rest on the side of the road…
