BALDWIN COUNTY, Ala. (WKRG) — The Alabama Department of Public Health has issued a swimming advisory for a portion of Mobile Bay in Baldwin County.

According to an ADPH news release, the water of Mobile Bay at the Orange Street Pier was tested and the quality was determined to be poor.
Officials said that swimming in this water could lead to a higher chance of getting sick.
The advisory will be lifted after the bacteria levels decrease and are considered to fall under the Environmental Protection Agency’s threshold.
