HORRY COUNTY, S.C. (WBTW) — Animal shelters in Horry and Marion counties are looking for people to provide temporary housing for dozens of dogs as they prepare for possible impacts from severe weather.
“Fostering helps free up space in our shelter for other pets who may be displaced during tropical weather,” the Horry County Animal Care Center said Friday in a Facebook post. “Fosters would be expected to enjoy the pet’s company for up to a week. All supplies, including crates and bedding, will be provided while we have them to give.”
