A inspector halted the sale of unhealthy salmon at a country club in The Villages.
The inspector paid a visit on Thursday to Cane Garden Country Club and found the salmon had been thawed out and was in a reach in cooler in the cook’s line, according to an inspection report on file with the Department of Business and Professional Regulation. The inspector found that the commercially processed reduced oxygen packaged fish was to remain frozen until time of use. The inspector issued a “stop sale,” because the salmon was not in “wholesome, sound condition.”
