Nationwide protests reach Albany as Starbucks workers demand improved staffing and pay

ALBANY, NY (WRGB)- Elected officials, customers, and workers at Starbucks are expected to rally in Albany on Saturday to elevate workers’ demands for a contract that improves staffing, hours, take-home pay, and on-the-job protections for baristas.

This comes on the heels of the company announcing store closures and layoffs throughout the nation.
