Rain, rain came and stayed for the 50th annual Irmo Okra Strut but it didn’t stop the party Friday night at Moore Park.
After a half hour delay due to storm and rains from tropical disturbances, the Irmo tradition persevered.
Last year, the Okra Strut was cancelled due to Hurricane Helene which caused Hurricane Hugo level damage across the state. The organizers continued as the rain dampened shoes but not spirits…
