FORT WAYNE, Ind. – The Purdue Fort Wayne women’s volleyball team fell to Robert Morris 3-1 (21-25, 25-15, 25-23, 35-33) on Friday (Sept. 26) in the Horizon League opener on the Arnie Ball Court.
The Mastodons pounced on the Colonials with an early 7-2 lead. RMU clawed back to an 11-11 draw, then the two teams traded blows back and forth. RMU eventually led 21-19 before Becky Barrett served the ‘Dons to a first-set victory. She had an ace in the 6-0 run.
