SOME Americans are getting checks worth hundreds of dollars next month to help with utilities costs.
The direct payment comes as part of a $60 billion energy credit rollout through a prominent state.
On Wednesday, California Governor Gavin Newsom (D) confirmed that around 11.5 million households would automatically have their electricity and natural gas bills refunded back to them as part of the state’s Climate Credit.
