Fireworks, juvenile disturbance at McDonald’s in Vienna injures two officers

VIENNA, Va. (DC News Now) — Vienna police said some of its officers were injured after responding to a juvenile disturbance at a McDonald’s.

The incident happened on Sept. 26 at around 9:20 p.m. at the McDonald’s located at 544 Maple Ave. West. Officers responded to a fight in progress, which involved a large crowd of high school students.

Metro to provide free shuttle buses during rail, station maintenance

Responding officers from the Vienna Police Department began checking out the area when fireworks began being set off in their direction.

As a result, two officers received minor injuries. They were treated there and remained on duty afterwards…
