The St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department is asking for the public’s help in identifying a suspect involved in a felony theft that targeted a wheelchair user last month. According to police, the incident occurred on late last month, at about 12:45 p.m. on Washington Avenue when a suspect took a briefcase from a victim on the sidewalk. The briefcase was later found nearby but damaged.
The St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department clarified that a previously identified person is no longer a suspect. Investigators released surveillance images and are asking for help identifying the man shown.
