Investigators say one person died and two others were injured following a crash along the Grand Parkway in north Harris County before 9 a.m. on Saturday.
Harris County Sheriff Ed Gonzalez said a single vehicle hit a guardrail along SH-99 near Kuykendahl before catching on fire. In an update Saturday afternoon, the sheriff’s office said the driver of a work van “failed to drive in a single lane while the roadway curved to the right” in a construction zone.
