Trial set for father accused in violent Kansas Amber Alert

SEDGWICK COUNTY —A man accused in connection with an Amber Alert in September of 2024 will now face a trial.

Judge William Wooley scheduled trial for Trevawn Strong, 30, of Wichita to begin November 17, according to the Sedgwick County District Attorney’s office.

Strong has been charged with abuse of a child, two counts of aggravated battery, two counts of aggravated assault, three counts of aggravated endangering a child, three counts of criminal threat, and misdemeanor counts of domestic battery, criminal restraint, and criminal damage to property, according the district attorney’s office…
