CYFD fires worker accused of hitting teen in department’s custody

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — New Mexico’s Children, Youth and Families Department fired a worker arrested for allegedly hitting and choking a teenager in the department’s custody.

New Mexico State Police arrested Dajae Robinson for the incident. Investigators said it happened Tuesday at CYFD’s facility on Indian School Road in northeast Albuquerque.
