EUGENE, Ore. – The University of Oregon campus was bustling with activity as freshman move-in day kicked off on Thursday and continues today with nearly 20,000 incoming students poised to start a new chapter in their lives.
The campus streets filled with moving trucks, cardboard boxes, and emotional goodbyes on both Sept. 25 and 26. Among the newcomers is Lyndon Owen, a freshman from England.
“I’m massively into sports, the big sports companies,” Owen said. “I love the business course massively interested me due to the connections to it. Everyone I spoke to seems very friendly. It’s just a very welcoming environment in this place.”…
