Music festival, candle light vigil held for N.J. woman killed by her cop ex-boyfriend

Family and friends gathered on a Long Valley farm Saturday to celebrate the life of Lauren Semanchik, the Hunterdon County woman killed last month in a double murder-suicide.

The Celebration of Life, held at Ort Farms, featured live music, vendor booths and pet adoptions in partnership with Cold Nose Warm Heart.

Admission was free for attendees. All proceeds from the GoFundMe campaign will be donated to the National Coalition Against Domestic Violence and a nonprofit organization called “Loved by Lauren,” which is being created by Semanchik’s family…
