BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WBRC) – With so much of our lives happening online, experts say having strong passwords is one of the best ways to protect yourself from cybercriminals.
The Better Business Bureau (BBB) warns that one of the biggest mistakes people make is reusing the same password for multiple accounts. If hackers crack just one, they may gain access to all of them.
To protect your accounts and information, President and CEO of BBB, Carl Bates, and other experts, recommend avoiding easy-to-guess passwords, such as birthdays or pet names.
