Man arrested in Uptown Charlotte ambulance shooting issued $2 million bond

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (WBTV) – One of the men believed to be involved in a shooting that pierced a Medic passenger door in Uptown Charlotte was placed under a $2 million bond.

Detevin Raheem Butts, 30, and Jaquarius Hykeem Mingo, 27, were arrested on Thursday, Sept. 25, and charged with:

  • 4 counts of assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill
  • Felony conspiracy
  • Discharging a weapon into occupied property

Butts was also charged with possession of a firearm by a felon and served a warrant from another state.
