A Clymer man was taken into custody early Sunday after an investigation into a criminal mischief complaint at a location in Clymer. Chautauqua County Sheriff’s deputies responded to an undisclosed address at about 4:30 PM Saturday and determined that 42-year-old William Suroviec allegedly intentionally damaged a vehicle’s windshield that did not belong to him and violated a court mandate in the process. Deputies say Suroviec fled the scene, and a warrant was issued out of Clymer Town Court for 2nd-degree criminal contempt and 3rd-degree criminal mischief. Suroviec was apprehended on the outstanding warrants at about 1:15 AM with assistance from Jamestown Police.
