Local residents and their pets participated in the Trails and Tails 5K Run at Harborcreek Community Park this morning to support a charitable cause.
The event was organized by the Erie Humane Society and SafeNet to raise funds for the Haven 2 Home program, which provides temporary shelter and care for pets displaced by domestic violence.
