LEXINGTON, Ky. (FOX 56) — A routine trip to the groomer was anything but ordinary on Tuesday when Joyce Velicovich’s 3-year-old dog, June, escaped from Quannies Quality Pet Grooming on East Reynolds Road.
“Since the moment I found out, we’ve just been in full search mode,” Velicovich said.
June is a 9-pound Maltipoo with reddish-brown fur — a coat similar to the litter of puppies she had nine weeks ago. Velicovich still has two of the puppies and hopes they’ll soon be reunited with their mom.
